Grades Kindergarten – 4th Grade
Children applying to grades Kindergarten – 4 at any of the Selective Enrollment Schools will be tested for admission without having to pre-qualify, as long as the child is age-appropriate.
Grades 5th – 8th Grade
Children applying to grades 5-8 for any of the Selective Enrollment Schools must meet minimum eligibility requirements based on their NWEA MAP scores in order to be tested for admission.
The application scoring system has three main parts: NWEA MAP assessment (33.3% of the total), previous year’s final grades for core subjects (33.3%), and the entrance exam (33.3%).
